The AMD64 patches will add an additional bin folder to the game (bin64) with a 64bit optimized FarCry.exe and patch the game to v 1.32. Verify cache is something you want to do after D/L any game on STEAM and then maybe once a week depending on your use of the game. Reminder to start STEAM "As Administrator", this solved a lot of starting problems with several games in my library.
